Tony Humpal's tattoo enthusiasm started early on. at age 16 he was building his own tattoo machines trying to figure out how the whole process worked. At age 18 during his senior year of high school, Tony was appenticing in a proffesional shop, and was tattooing full time before he even graduated. After a couple years of traveling and tattooing, he settled down in san diego to work alongside Eva Phoenix and Johnathan Loveless. Over the next 8 years, Tony dedicated himself to bettering his proffession, learning new techniques, creating tattoos to fit the overall shape of the body part used, so that it all has a natural flow.
It was that same flow that Tony incorperated into his piercing career. After studying under Fakir Musafar in San Francisco at the Body Work Intensive, he began applying all he had learned about body shape and placment in tattooing to piercing, ensuring every piercing he does is treated at a work of art.
After 13 years of traveling the country and meeting scores of tattooists, piercers, artists of every medium, surfers, hobos, and everything in between, Tony came back to PA. Full of all the insperation that he experianced while traveling, he walked into Wizards World with his portfolio, and found an instant comfort with Joe Johns and his staff.
